Vanderpool completing lots of training before deployment to Kuwait

Nineteen-year-old David Vanderpool joined the Wyoming Army National Guard 2.5 years ago in his junior year at Riverside High School. He knew it was more than likely he would be deployed overseas, after all it was after his brother Matt, returned from serving in Operation Iraqi Freedom with the Guard, that he decided to enlist.
